BioAge will be involved in WP6 for the integration activity and the designing, realization, testing and characterization of the electronics needed to achieve the prototypes of the three test vehicles. The detailed description of the BioAge activities are the followings:
POWER SUPPLY development for each test vehicle.
ADC CONVERSION STAGES development for each test vehicle.
FIRMWARE development that will be used to program the microcontrollers.
DATA BUS development to connect the prototypes to a PC.
INTEGRATION of all the previous subsystems and of the transducers.
3D MECHANICAL development of auxiliary systems, if they are needed.
BioAge is an Italian technological SME that develops and produces measurement instruments based on sensors and biosensors and real time monitoring systems. The company develops several kinds of transducers. The BioAge main technologies are nano-gravimetric, capacitive and infrasonic wave systems. BioAge produces highly accurate quartz crystal microbalances (QCM) systems, developed for piezoelectric gravimetry in the ng-pg range, such instruments are commonly used by research centres and universities, the application fields is extremely large and thanks to their extreme accuracy and sensitivity these instruments are employed in the nanotechnology basic research too. The BioAge main product is QCM Eureka, this was the first QCM, at word-wide level, self powered only by the PC USB port. BioAge designs, produces and installs infrasonic monitoring systems, used to monitor in real time the volcanic activity, in Italy the Italian Civil Defence uses our systems to monitor the explosive activity of Etna volcano (Etna is the bigger active European volcano). BioAge has designed and realized a real-time marine monitoring system that has been installed near the Stromboli island (it is a volcanic island), this system is used by the Italian Civil Defence as tsunami real time early warning alarm. The scientific research is one of the main interest of BioAge that is involved in EC FP7 research projects. BioAge is skilled in the electronic circuit research, design and development, in the demonstrators realization and in the research.

Dr. Ing. Electronic Engineering, University La Sapienza of Rome. He worked at :
- "Texas Instruments" in Avezzano, where was involved in plasma etching process
- "Polo Nazionale Bioelettronica" in Marciana Marina (LI), in satellite multi-spectral images
- "Technobiochip scarl" in Marciana (LI), where was responsible of engineering team
- "Centro di Eccellenza Optronica" in Florence, where was responsible of engineering team
- "BioAge", currently he is responsible of designing of new Hi-Tec instruments and micro systems He was the responsible of the development of various innovative instruments and devices like: real time infrasonic monitoring systems, real time tsunami early warning alarm system, quartz micro balance measurement instruments, capacitive sensors, LVDT measurement systems. He has developed a very innovative capacitive system that is employed in proteomics and genomics and that has been patented in Italy and in Europe, and that has won a prestigious prize:
